OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, is developing an artificial intelligence (AI) called Strawberry that will be able to think like a human, Reuters reported on July 13.

“The paper describes a project that uses Strawberry models to allow the company’s AI to not only generate responses to queries, but also plan [responses] in advance to autonomously navigate the web and perform what OpenAI calls ‘deep search,’” the publication says.

The plan itself is still in development, and the date of the project’s creation is unknown. According to the agency’s source, work on it is secret even within the company.
